A beautiful set of fiery opal cluster earrings and matching necklace in nine-carat gold. The opals have a predominantly blue/violet tone and look particularly stunning against a dark background!
• Condition: In excellent vintage condition.
• Fixing: The earrings have posts and butterfly scrolls for pierced ears and the necklace closes with a secure spring ring clasp.
• Hallmarks/stamps: The pendant is hallmarked for London nine-carat gold on the back, the earring posts, butterflies and chain clasp are stamped 375 (nine-carat gold).
• Era: Estimated late 20th century.
• Size: The opal clusters measure 1.5 x 1.2cm; the chain is 16 inches long.
• Combined weight: 5.4g.
