Richly coloured gold stud earrings in the form of dolphins, each one formed of shining 14-carat gold with polished royal blue lapis lazuli.
• Condition: The earrings are in very good vintage condition with minor surface wear; there is most wear to the lapis at the bottom, around the wire which attaches it. All parts are securely set in place.
• Fixing: Posts and large 14-carat gold butterfly scrolls.
• Hallmarks/stamps: None found on the earrings, which test as 14-carat gold; the butterflies are stamped 585 (14ct gold).
• Era: Estimated late 20th century.
• Size: Approximately 1.7 x 1.4cm.
• Total weight: 3.0g.
