These vintage flower studs show a lovely attention to detail, from the richly textured heart-shaped petals which really catch the light, to the white gold-tipped claws which accentuate the twinkling white diamonds at their centre.

• Fixing: Posts for pierced ears with nine-carat gold butterflies.
• Hallmarks/stamps: Hallmarked on each post for London nine-carat gold, 1979.
• Size: The earrings measure 1cm across. The single-cut diamonds are approximately 2mm diameter (0.06 TCW).
• Weight: 1.7g.
