Vintage 14CT Gold Diamond and Opal Halo Studs

These pretty earrings in 14-carat gold are set with lovely fiery opal cabochons in a halo of sparkling white diamonds. The gems sit in a deep yellow gold basket setting, with the smaller prongs tipped in white gold to complement the diamonds.

• Condition: In excellent vintage condition.

• Fixing: Solid 14-carat (585) gold butterflies.

• Hallmarks/stamps: Each earring is stamped 14K on the back and the butterflies are stamped 585.

• Era: Estimated late 20th century.

• Size: 1 x 1.2cm diameter. The opals measure approx 7 x 5mm and the diamonds 1mm.

• Weight: 3.2g.
