Very pretty gleaming nine-carat gold earrings in ornate Victorian style, each with a gleaming white pearl at the centre.
• Condition: Very good vintage condition. There is a little glue around the pearls when seen under magnification so they may be replacements or may just have been resecured at some time.
• Fixing: Nine-carat gold posts and butterfly scrolls.
• Hallmark/stamps: The post of each earring bears the Common Control Mark for nine-carat gold, which was adopted in 1975-6. Also stamped 9CT on the butterflies.
• Size: 3.2 x 1.8cm.
• Weight: 4.2g.
• Era: Post 1976.
