Fine quality Victorian earrings with trace chains descending to a dainty teardrop. The earrings are nine-carat gold with a high-carat wash which gives them the most fantastic rich colour.
• Condition: Very good antique condition. One of the teardrops has a tiny area of denting but it's very hard to spot, even under magnification.
• Fixing: Pretty flower-shaped nine-carat gold screw backs suitable for pierced or non-pierced ears.
• Hallmarks/stamps: 9C on the backs of the screws.
• Era: Victorian.
• Size: 3.2cm total drop; the teardrops measure approximately 1 x 0.7cm.
• Weight: 1.3g.
PLEASE NOTE! All items are vintage or antique and as such show light general wear appropriate to their age. Bear in mind photos are very magnified and flaws which can be seen in the pictures are often imperceptible to the naked eye in real life. I always do my very best to point out any additional flaws, but please look carefully at all the photos as they are an important part of the listing - and do ask if you have any questions!
Antique boxes are for display only unless stated otherwise.
