Pretty Victorian earrings formed of beautiful glowing rose-cut garnets, foiled to accentuate their deep red colour. The earring settings are gilded metal, the traditional setting in this type of jewellery, with solid nine-carat gold wires.
• Condition: The earrings are in excellent antique condition. The wires were likely added at a later date, the garnets may have started out in life as a larger piece of jewellery.
• Fixing: Integral nine-carat gold ear wires, supplied with tiny silicone "keepers" which can be fixed on the ends for extra security.
• Era: Victorian (1837-1901).
• Size: 1.5 x 1.1cm, 2cm tall including the wires.
• Weight: 3.0g.
PLEASE NOTE! All items are vintage or antique and as such show light general wear appropriate to their age. Bear in mind photos are very magnified and flaws which can be seen in the pictures are often imperceptible to the naked eye in real life. I always do my very best to point out any additional flaws, but please look carefully at all the photos as they are an important part of the listing - and do ask if you have any questions! Antique boxes are for display only unless stated otherwise.
