Victorian Gold and Silver Turquoise Paste Diamond Earrings
Victorian Gold and Silver Turquoise Paste Diamond Earrings
Desirable antique earrings in sterling silver with nine-carat rose gold screw backs and gold links between each of the five articulated sections which make up the drop. The top gemstones are a vivid turquoise blue, while the lower ones are slightly more green in colour, all beautifully set off by the sparkling lines of old-cut diamond pastes.
• Condition: The earrings are in very good antique condition, there is a little wear and tear to the edge of the bezels but this is only noticeable under magnification.
• Fixing: Nine-carat gold screw backs for pierced or unpierced ears.
• Hallmarks/stamps: 9CT on the screws.
• Era: Estimated late Victorian to early Edwardian (c.1900s).
• Size: 2.8 x 0.6cm.
• Weight: 2.6g.
PLEASE NOTE! All items are vintage or antique and as such show light general wear appropriate to their age. Bear in mind photos are very magnified and flaws which can be seen in the pictures are often imperceptible to the naked eye in real life. I always do my very best to point out any additional flaws, but please look carefully at all the photos as they are an important part of the listing - and do ask if you have any questions!
