Tiny Victorian 15CT Gold and Diamond Earrings
Tiny Victorian 15CT Gold and Diamond Earrings
Dainty little antique earrings in rich 15-carat gold, each with a tiny star-set diamond. Fifteen-carat gold pieces are not overly common (in the UK only really used between 1854 and 1932) and this fineness was generally used in high quality pieces.
• Condition: Excellent antique condition.
• Fixing: Ear wires. Note that the wires are relatively small and may not fit everyone; if you're unsure, please check first!
• Hallmarks/stamps: Stamped 15CT.
• Era: Victorian (late 1800s).
• Size: Approximately 8mm diameter, just over 1cm drop from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the gold circle.
• Weight: 0.9g.
PLEASE NOTE! All items are vintage or antique and as such show light general wear appropriate to their age. Bear in mind photos are very magnified and flaws which can be seen in the pictures are often imperceptible to the naked eye in real life. I always do my very best to point out any additional flaws, but please look carefully at all the photos as they are an important part of the listing - and do ask if you have any questions!
