• Fixing: Nine-carat gold butterfly scrolls.
• Hallmarks/stamps: The back of each earring is stamped 375 (nine carat gold) and bears the imprint of UnoAErre, the Italian goldsmith company founded in 1926. Also bears the identification punch mark 1AR - UnoAErre was the first goldsmithing business registered in Arezzo. The posts are stamped with the sponsor's mark MJ and stamps for London import 1980.
