Fantastic antique gold earrings with tiny seed pearls set among textured flowers and leaves. The gold has a richly coloured slightly velvety finish which indicates it may have been "bloomed" - a popular process in the late 19th century where pieces were dipped into an acid mixture to burn away alloy metals on the surface, leaving a thin layer of pure high-carat gold behind and giving that lovely satiny sheen.
• Condition: The earrings are in excellent antique condition.
• Fixing: Secured wires.
• Era: Estimated late Victorian/Edwardian (c.late 1890-1910).
• Size: 5.8 x 1.7cm.
• Weight: 5.1g.
PLEASE NOTE! All items are vintage or antique and as such show light general wear appropriate to their age. Bear in mind photos are very magnified and flaws which can be seen in the pictures are often imperceptible to the naked eye in real life. I always do my very best to point out any additional flaws, but please look carefully at all the photos as they are an important part of the listing - and do ask if you have any questions!
