Beautiful large pearl hearts set into high-carat yellow gold stud earrings. The hearts, slightly creamy with delicate pink and blue highlights, appear to be split cultured pearls affixed to a mother of pearl backing.

• Fixing: Large 18-carat gold butterfly scrolls.
• Hallmarks/stamps: Each earring is hallmarked for 18-carat gold on the post and the butterflies are stamped 750 (18-carat gold).
