Regal antique gold earrings in Etruscan Revival style set with greenish turquoise cabochons which are framed in fine rope twists. The colour of the gold is very rich, beautifully complementing the turquoises.
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
• Fixing: Posts and large nine-carat gold butterfly scrolls, likely a later conversion from screw backs. The butterflies are very similar, not quite matching.
• Hallmarks/stamps: Each earring has a partial nine-carat gold hallmark and the butterflies are stamped 9CT.
• Era: Estimated Victorian (c.1837-1901).
• Size: Approximately 2.5 x 1.2cm.
• Weight: 5.6g.
