Rare longline antique amethyst and freshwater pearl earrings with nine-carat gold fittings. Any kind of hand-carved antique gem is a tiny unique miracle of the lapidary arts and these stones have wonderful character.
• Condition: The earrings are in very good antique condition, with just some scars and abrasions to the carved amethysts. Natural inclusions are visible in the larger amethysts.
• Fixing: Ear wires; supplied with tiny silicone keepers which you can pop over the wires for security.
• Era: Estimated 19th century to Edwardian.
• Size: 7.5cm (three inches) drop from the top of the ear wire. The large amethysts measure approx 1cm across.
• Weight: 5.8g.
