A phenomenal set of earrings and ring mounted with large purple corundum and white spinel accent stones, all foil backed for extra sparkle. The pieces are bespoke, almost certainly having been converted from a single large piece, perhaps a necklace or bracelet.
• Condition: In very good antique/vintage condition.
• Fixing: The earrings have posts for pierced ears with nice snappy omega back fittings for additional security.
• Hallmarks/stamps: None, which is not unusual after conversions. The pieces test as sterling silver with solid 18-carat gold fittings (the ring shank, the earring backs etc).
• Era: The conversion work is very much 1940s in style and the original jewellery is obviously earlier, possibly dating back to the 19th century.
• Size: All three pieces measure approximately 2.5 x 2.2cm, with the central stone 1 x 1.5cm. The ring is size R (UK), approx 8.5 (US), and can be resized free of charge :)
• Combined weight: 33g.
